WEEK OF GOLF 2017

Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club will hold its 16th Annual Veterans Week of Golf from Monday, 7th August to Friday,11th August, 2017.

Registration Day will be Sunday, 6th August – 2:00pm – 5:00pm in the Members’ Lounge.

Numbers this year will be strictly confined to 208 players for the Main Program (4 days) and 52 players for the
Complementary Program (4days).

Nominations will be put in order of being received i.e. the Main Program will be filled first followed by the Complementary Program unless the Complementary Program is requested. Any entries received after this will be placed in chronological order in a stand-by list. Cancellations in the Main Program will be filled from the Complementary Program if desired and any cancellations in the Complementary Program will be filled from the stand-by list. On the Registration Form, please complete Golflink number and advise current GA handicap.

Handicap changes will be made on Registration Day.
Maximum handicaps for the Week of Golf are:
Men   – 36    [Graded in 3 Divisions]      Ladies – 45    [Graded in 2 Divisions]

Graded Divisions will be determined after Registration Day and will be dependent on numbers to even out the grades.

Enclosed is an Information Brochure, Registration Form and a Social Club membership form. Our parent club is again offering social club membership at no cost. This will enable you to get members’ discounts on food and beverages in the Club throughout the Week.

The NSWVGA has advised that, at registration, all players must produce their white membership booklet duly signed by a Club or Group Secretary, OR their Group or Club Veteran membership card signed by a Club or Group official to verify their eligibility. Men must have attained the age of 55 years and women 50 years as at the first day of the tournament.

4BBB Mixed/Medley Stableford – West Course – Monday, 7th August – All players from both programs will combine to play this event. Two shot-gun starts on this day (6:54 am & 12:01 pm)

Presentation of Prizes will be held on two nights.

(a)       BBQ – Tuesday 6:00pm – Mon/Tues events
(b) Presentation Dinner – Friday, 6:30pm for 7:00pm – Thurs/Fri events and major trophies. Seating arrangements for the Dinner will be tables of 8. Make up your own groups and write names on the Dinner Plan available at Registration.

Cost per person:           Golf [4days] and BBQ $140      Presentation Dinner: $35         TOTAL: $175
